Beach Volleyball

I started beach volleyball when I was really young, about 12. I fell in love and never looked back. My dad, Hernan Humana, exposed me to beach volleyball at a young age.

Being surrounded by sun, sand, beach volleyball, beautiful beaches and bathing suits is enticing, exciting and fun. But despite the allure of its atmosphere, my love for the game is why I am where I am today.

My success started when I was 14 and won my first Canadian nationals, since then I’ve won 4 more Canadian titles. At the junior level, my partner Victoria Altomare and I put Canada on the map on the international tour winning the first ever medal on the female side for Canada at FIVB U21 World Championships in 2011 with our second place finish.A year later, my new partner Taylor Pischke and I became the youngest ever Canadian champions winning the Open elite women division at only 19 years old.
